SALLY'S EXPERIENCE and council priorities

Community service is fundamental to my life’s work. I dedicate every day to keeping Bend’s “soul” intact. Bend is a treasure. Together we need to address our City’s growing pains and make positive change happen.

My top priorities on Bend’s City Council are:

• Keep our City a great place to work, play, live, learn and enjoy the great outdoors.
• Find a permanent solution to fund and maintain roads.
• Address Bend’s affordable housing problem, especially for those who want to live in the community where they work.
• Prioritize City projects to keep rates and taxes as low as possible.

History: I am a fifth generation Central Oregonian who has lived in Bend for more than 30 years.  My two daughters and I have enjoyed quality schools, an unimaginable range of outdoor activities, enriching civic and cultural events and much more.

I have worked with Sally for many years on a wide variety of topics. I have always found her to be interested in learning as much as she can on a subject from a wide range of viewpoints before taking thoughtful actions that balance those varying opinions while staying focused on the bigger picture.
